How about a FAT, overweight Female Axototl for sale.
Should anyone have an axolotl for sale that is too FAT?
Does that even exist?
A nice healthy female may appear overweight to some people who don't know better, when in reality Axolotls cannot become overweight. Healthy Female Axolotls will be in a gravid state all her adult life if she is taken well care of and fed properly. She will reabsorb her eggs and make new ones all the time. A healthy female will have reserve eggs even after she lays fertilized eggs that become axolotl babies.
Don't let your Axolotl fool you into thinking they are uncomfortable being gravid and breed them too early or too often. Their bodies take care of things naturally. They know how to make an axolotl baby.
I have seen some posts speaking on axolotls being overweight. This is misinformation being spread and you want to be careful to not under feed your Axolotls. They know when they need to eat and when they don't.
In the wild, Axolotls have access to food 24/7. You should never refuse to feed your Axolotls because YOU feel like they need to lose weight. They will let you know if they don't need food by simply not eating or spitting it out. I feed my axolotls daily no matter their age. Yes they will slow down as they are older, but I always offer food.
Do your research before listening to what people tell you on social media.
