FINALLY!

I had started my cycling process on 6 dec 22, had it almost done in january 23 but it stalled and by the middle of february i was going insane! nothing was working, i ordered this along with a sponge and it shipped overnight on a monday, arrived in perfect condition the next day, i installed it on tuesday and by thursday my ammonia was processing (which it had before) but my nitrites were no longer purple and they were gone! ah the pretty blue color in the master api kit that i was longing to see!!!! i am so glad i finally am on the way of getting my tank having the best nitrogen cycle it can have...note i have a fluval 4x canister and a 40gal breeder tank

Tank finally cycled!!!

I’ve been struggling to cycle my axolotyl tank for months. My readings have been stalled at 2ppm ammonia .25 nitrite and 80 nitrate. I ordered these seasoned filters to speed things up and no joke on day 2 of it in my tank is cycled and readings are perfect!

Easy to put together. Comes with everything you need to give your cycling tank a jump start. I would recommend the filter for anyone having trouble cycling their tank.

Aside from it being a bit spendy, it worked fairly well. It created a decent bacteria bloom and brought stubborn nitrites down. Arrived FAST which kept the bacteria alive in transit! Nearing the end of cycling a 55 gallon tank and this must have cut the time in 1/2 if not more. Will be ordering another one soon for another tank!

LOVED this. It's a must have if you're just getting in to the hobby or impulse setting up a new tank. Within days of setting it up my ammonia was dropping and I was starting to see nitrites. That took like 2+ months with my first tank. I'm very happy.
